Chicago Rise is innovating a school model that integrates an identity-affirming pedagogy with culturally responsive classroom engagement. Our school will dedicate space for students and staff to explore their dynamic socio-cultural identity, particularly with relevance to their racial background. To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in an elementary learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Work is performed under the supervision of the principal and other leaders.
